Isn't it weird that there is a real life labyrinth full of dead bodies, in which modern day people have disappeared forever, just laying under a major world city and we're all like,

"Oh yeah, the Paris catacombs. I know."

I’ve got a question for the rest of the miraculous fandom. How do you think Lila’s lair works?

It’s obviously in the Catacombs, that you can visit. I don’t actually know that much about the catacombs, so someone correct me if I’m wrong. it seems like Lila’s lair is in a room you can visit. So is it just miraculous logic and the catacombs can’t be visited? Or is the room she’s in one of the prohibited locations? Because there’s apparently way more of the catacombs that’s illegal to visit. And the police survey the area.

I ask because I have a feeling the catacombs are going to win the poll for where Gabriel and Nathalie are keeping Audrey and Andre. So I’m doing some research to figure out specifically where in the catacombs he’s keeping them. I’m possibly thinking that in miraculous as soon as Hawkmoth appeared, they shut down the catacombs in case he was hiding there.

I just need answers….

I'm begging people not to believe everything random people on TikTok say. Yes, it can be dangerous to go on your own or without proper equipment in the catacombs in Paris. And it's actually illegal outside of the museum (not that it stops people). But no, people don't live there and no one is going to steal your map and flashlight. The only people you can meet down there are the cataphiles, people who do illegal visits to the catacombs and police officers that check that no one is down there.

As requested by @i-am-a-stupid-robot, a few photos of the spoooooooooky Paris catacombs:

We went in late May and it was chilly and very, very quiet. The queue to go in lasted around an hour because it's a major tourist destination, but when we were down there, it was like it was just me and my friends. You could hear water dripping, and the occassional voice in the distance. And everywhere you look, the bones are organised in this similar style. Like I said, wandering off the route is a good way to get lost for days and in fact people have done that.

For real though, if you're ever in Paris, you have to go here.
